During the last month Hurtwood Film Academy ditched their digital cameras, to learn the art of shooting on film. Filmmaker Chris Pinnock from University of Creative Arts came in to lead workshops, where the students were taught how to load and operate 16mm Bolex cameras. The students then had their chance to create their own creative pieces. A week later they went off, armed with light meters, prime lenses and just 5 minutes of film stock per group. Below you can see the results of their first attempts at working with celluloid.
