Pain is when it hurts, when you can’t think about anything else but pain.
Pain demands to be felt. You can’t just not feel it. We are all different, and although we all feel pain to a different degree, we can all agree that pain is felt by everyone in this world.
Pain chokes you, breaks your heart in pieces and scatters them across the world for you to find them.
Pain is when you feel alone in a crowded room.
Pain excludes you from the rest, makes you feel worthless, sinks you to the bottom.
Pain is when someone’s gone.
Pain drowns you and dozes you, it makes you feel empty, it makes you question life, its meaning and your place in it.
Pain is there, it never goes away, brings your hopes down and the only thing you want to do is lie there, on the floor, not allowing you to move, observing life go on.
Pain makes your life stop, frozen on a day, a moment, a thought, whilst around you life continues, spinning out of control, where it seems to go faster than usual, to be racing, rather than walking the path of life.
Pain is when you want to start all over.
Pain numbs you. It starts slowly, taking up space in your heart, until all happy thoughts and feelings drown in black matter, taking up the whole heart, and slowly creeping through our veins.
Pain never leaves you, you can hide from it, but you know it will always be there waiting for you, waiting to catch you off guard, to surprise you.
Pain is like the silhouette of a hand grabbing your heart and squeezing the air and the life out of you, even though your beating heart may be in perfect conditions.
Pain is when you are sitting there thinking about pain.
Pain is when you can’t move because everything around you is pain, so, you have to be careful not to move, unless you want to step on it.
Pain is the feeling that you want to die, what is the point of living anyways, if you are to be surrounded by pain?
Pain lures you in, it makes you spiral down, towards more pain and then refuses to let you escape. You end up having to become pain and pain becoming you.
There is no perfect life, something always goes wrong. You try to smile and make friends, but, are they really your friends? Won’t they hurt you in the long run? Isn’t it better to just not have friends, so you don’t feel the pain?
You end up learning how to smile over the years, how to be sweet, be sarcastic and crack some jokes. But if you feel pain, the only thing you want to do is lie there, on the floor, without moving.
Why the floor? Because it is hard, it is uncomfortable, and it reminds you of pain.
Pain kills you inside out, you’ll always be a prisoner of pain, locked up in a dark cell.
Pain is like the silhouette of a hand grabbing your heart and squeezing the air and the life out of you, even though your beating heart may be in perfect conditions. Pain drowns you and dozes you, it makes you feel empty, it makes you question life, its meaning and your place in it.
Pain will make sure you don’t escape it, escape from its cell.
Pain can end up becoming a routine, something you do every day because you have to.
Pain is looking at someone’s eyes and seeing pain.
Pain is not being understood.
Pain is not being noticed
Pain is knowing you are a failure, that you could have done so much better in life, but you didn’t.
Pain is like a folded piece of paper, as you unwrap it, you learn more about it. But every time you unfold it, pain hits you, harder each time.
Pain is like being stabbed, not once, but a thousand times.
Pain is everywhere; pain is there, in your heart.
Pain makes you better, it makes you work harder, it makes you endure, it makes you lose confidence, it makes you be the best version of yourself that you can be. And that is the sole and only reason why pain is demanded to be felt.
What is Pain?
